Kurai has her Child

Kurai was accompanied to the hospital by Emi, who'd been there when she went into labour. She was handling it pretty well but the pain was getting worse and worse. She was surprised Mugen hadn't even shown up. She was shown to a hospital bed. "Emi, PROMISE me you'll stay here," She panted.

"No worries, I'm always here for ya," Emi smiled as reassuringly as she could... it's still slightly disconcerting when you have fangs though.

Mugen was patiently sitting in the waiting room.He had his fingers interlocked and he was nervously waiting the arival.He himself felt like he was going to be sick,he had never been so scared in his life.But this was a good day,he was going to become a father.He knew that was all that was important not his fear but knowing his child would be happy and healthy.

"Ok good, because right now I could really use a mom or something and you're the closes I have to that age range," She teased but then cursed loudly as another wave of pain came crashing down on her, this one so much more worse. The doctor was quick to come in and get everything sorted.

"So you're saying your mom was 136 years old? uh-huh, right, whatever." Emi teased back. "But for now, concentrate, seriously. You'll need it."

Mugen began to pace back and forth,nervous as hell.

"Awh, no shit!" She hissed, tilting her head back as the pain began to make her irritatble. Who could seriously blame her? She didn't cry though, she wasn't quite at that stage. She was trying her hardest but it felt like every ounce of energy had been taken from her.

"You'll be fine, just stick to your guns. After all, let's face it, women could own men any day. Managing through this will make that even clearer than it was, believe it or not." Emi's motor-mouthing was a ign of her own nervousness, though she was sure she'd covered it fairly well.

"Emi," Kurai tried to say as her friend started ranting. "Emi..." Still nothing. "EMI!" She shouted, finally getting her friends attention. "Shut...The hell...up," She groaned as things finally seemed to be nearing their end. The doctor was urging Kurai to keep going and soon, the child was eventually born. Kurai's tears only came after the birth, when her whole body just totally shut down on her.

Emi snapped out of her rambling and encouraged Kurai until the end. "You've done it, Kurai," Emi smiled.

Kurai barely managed to lift her head as the baby was cleaned. "It's a healthy baby girl," The doctor told her, and Kurai barely had the energy left to smile. "Is she alright?" She asked. "Haha, yes she's fine. Here," The doctor replied as they handed Kurai the baby. She must've been a natural mother, because the baby girl stopped crying within seconds. As Emi left to give the new mother privacy, the nurse nodded her head at Mugen, signalling he could go in.

Mugen knocks on the door of the hospital room.With a smile on his face and something behind his back.He was wearing his anbu uniform,though he left his headband at home.

"Come in," Kurai called, her voice barely projecting loud enough because of the sheer exhaustion. She kissed her new daughter on the forehead, not even bothering to stop the tears. She knew there would be no use in trying.

Mugen walked in the room a smile on his face and tears in his eyes as he laid eyes on his beautiful kurai and their new baby girl.He walks over to her looking at the baby.

She looked at Mugen out of the corner of her eye. "I was wondering if you even showed," She murmured, rocking the baby gently. "I was holding off on naming her until I was sure if you were here or not," The doctor nodded at Mugen and patted him on the shoulder before he left too, knowing when to give them space.

"Sorry love,i was wrapping up at the office."He said remembering the pile of paper work he had left behind just to make it in time.He smiled and walked forward to stand behind her.Looking down at the new baby,then holding his arms out to hold her.

"Careful," She murmured as she very slowly handed the baby girl over to Mugen. The girl had a full head of jet black hair, like both parents, and had one green eye and one blue eye. She had Kurai's pale skin though, it would be interesting to see what bloodline the girl belonged to.

He smiled and kissed her head."Aoi,were gonna name her aoi."He said as he cuddled her into him gently.He would then smile at her."Aoi niwa shikyo."He said sitting down in a chair rocking her.

"Aoi..." She repeated. As soon as the word left her lips, her mind went straight back to her mother. She sniffed slightly, trying her hardest not to cry. "Aoi's good..." She agreed with a slight nod. She looked at Mugen, and how happy he was. It was almost worth all of the pain to see it.

He would then smile and hand her to kurai.He then kissed her lips as he did this."Are you ready to go home love?"

"If I can get up, I suppose so," She replied, holding the baby close to her. She glanced at Mugen again, wondering why he wanted to go home so quickly. She tried swinging her legs to the side of the bed but even that helped. "I'll get cleaned up and changed, then we can go,"
